Human Brain Project scientists are participating in the online conference ‘Human Brains: Culture & Consciousness’ from November 9-13. The virtual event kicks off a three-year dialogue between neuroscience, culture, and artists, initiated by the Italian "Fondazione Prada."

From the Human Brain Project, Katrin Amunts, Mavi Sanchez-Vives, Jean-Pierre Changeux, and Idan Segev are taking part in the event as moderators or speakers.

The discussions will focus on the study of consciousness in neuroscience, and draw comparisons with other disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, linguistics, and anthropology.
