HBP Training Event: The use of Containers on High Performance Computing (HPC) systems

This event will introduce participants to the use of containers on HPC systems. After the course, attendees will have a greater understanding about the techniques and the steps needed to assemble units of software which package up all code and dependencies necessary to execute a specific task. The program includes both technical lectures from HBP partners including CNR, EPFL and ETHZ-CSCS, and extensive hands-on sessions focused on the implementation of containers for use cases of the HBP Brain Simulation Platform.
Requirements for attending the event:
- Good knowledge of Python programming
- Basic knowledge of web applications and programming
