6th JP-EU Workshop on Neurorobotics: Healthcare and Ageing in the Era of AI

This workshop will address the rapidly growing research areas of AI and robotics in healthcare for the ageing society in both the EU and Japan. The scientific, policy and regulatory challenges linked to these areas will be identified and discussed with the aim to promote new future EU-Japan joint research activities. In particular, speakers will highlight the potential for novel scientific tools and infrastructures to support national health and social systems tackling the demographic shift happening in both countries, while expert panel sessions will instead provide informed views on policy, regulatory and societal requirements that will have to be met in order to effectively and sustainably create accessible and trustworthy intelligent technologies for all.
