The HBP at the International Neuroethics Society Annual Meeting, Washington DC, November 9-10 2017

Dr Arleen Salles (SP12, Ethics and Society) was a panelist in the Ambassador Session. She joined representatives from national-level funded project for neuroscience, as well as embedded ethicists within different brain initiatives. The discussion revolved around the topic of  how neuroethical questions are addressed within each project. The session was moderated by Dr Karen Rommelfanger (Emory University).

Drs Michele Farisco, Kathinka Evers and Arleen Salles presented a poster on neuroethics and how it can be understood, particularly as conceptual neuroethics. This poster (see link below), which describes part of the work that the Neuroethics and philosophy group in SP12 is developing within the HBP, was awarded a prize by Springer.
