EBRAINS & HBP at the 8th EAN Congress

01 July 2022

25-28 June 2022 | Vienna, Austria

The 8th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology took place in Vienna this week, under the overarching theme: “Getting Evidence Into Practice”. The event brought together neurologists and neuroscientists to network and to exchange knowledge to tackle major challenges in neurology, recording in total 5,300 on-site and 2,700 online attendees.

Representatives from EBRAINS AISBL and the Human Brain Project had the privilege to discuss with clinicians and scientists interested in EBRAINS Research Infrastructure. France Nivelle, Chief Communications and Content Officer of EBRAINS AISBL, hosted a session on the role of the EBRAINS Research Infrastructure in supporting the future of brain science in Europe.

We were delighted to hear Thomas Berger, Chair of the EAN Scientific Committee, recognise neuro-data sharing via EBRAINS as one of the focus topics for the future EAN international studies.

Throughout all Congress days, HBP booth experts answered questions from visitors about the results and infrastructure developed in the Project, as well as share information about collaboration opportunities.

We are already looking forward to the event next year!
